SPRING Concert Performance INFORMATION 2026: ALL RIGHT HERE!
Dear Parents,
We are looking forward to our 2026 Dance Recital: “The Dance of Colors”.
We will be hosting our performances at Morgan Park Academy Theatre.
Located at 2153 W. 111th St. Chicago, IL.
We will be having 4 performances:
Sat. June 13th- 12pm & Sat. June 13th- 4pm
Sun. June 14th- 12pm & Sun. June 14th- 4pm
The shows will be divided by classes this year. Please see which classes will be performing in which shows: Your dancer may only be in one show, or they may be in multiple classes and multiple shows.

Show Tickets:
Tickets will go on sale Sat. May 2, 2026. At the front desk at the studio. The price will be $20 per ticket. Cash only. General seating for all performances. Doors will open to the theatre 30 min before each performance. When purchasing your tickets, you must know what show you would like to attend. Please discuss with your family.
WE WILL NOT HAVE TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOORS.
Tickets will only be sold ahead of time.

- All rehearsals are mandatory for every dancer, no one is excused.
- See list on page 1 for which show and rehearsals your dancer will attend.
- See your teacher or Miss Marylee with any questions.

1:00-2:30pm—Entire 12pm Show
3:00-6:00pm— Entire 4pm Show
Sun. June 7th, 2026:
1:00-2:30pm—Entire 12pm Show

SHOW WEEK:
THEATRE REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCE TIMES:
Theatre rehearsals and performances will be held at Morgan Park Academy Theatre: 2153 W. 111th St. Chicago.
UPDATED REHEARSAL INFORMATION:
**Updated on May 21, 2026:
For tech and rehearsal week, we were scheduled previously at the theatre starting on wed, June 10.
Due to emergency work that needs to be done at the theatre, we need to shift our rehearsal schedule the week of the show.
The schedule will now be:
Mon. June 8:
5-9pm: Entire 4:00 show only (the older dancers)
-no costumes- Technical rehearsal: at the theatre
Tues. June 9th:
4:30-6: entire 12:00 show dancers
6-8:30pm: entire 4:00 show dancers
-no costumes- Technical rehearsal: at the theatre
~~Off Wed. June 10th & Thurs June 11th ~~
Fri. June 12th:
5-6:30pm: 12:00 show dancers
7-9:00pm: 4:00 show dancers
DRESS REHEARSAL: at the theatre
-Full Hair, makeup, costumes, props. Shoes, etc. for all dancers-
Sat. June 13th:
12:00pm performance= 11:00am arrival for all dancers
&
4:00pm performance= 3:00pm arrival for all dancers
Sun. June 14th:
12:00pm performance= 11:00am arrival for all dancers
&
4:00pm performance= 3:00pm arrival for all dancers
Important Rules:
-
- Cash only for ticket purchases. $20 in advance. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR
- Tickets will go on sale beginning on Sat. May 2nd, at the Dance studio front desk. Cash only.
- No child will be allowed to leave the backstage areas until after the finale of the show. They will be safely monitored backstage.
- Please label your Childs costumes, bags, shoes, etc.
- Parents, we ask you to volunteer on our sign-up sheets on our bulletin board- it will be located in the back area of the studio, by the back door. Multiple volunteers are needed to run each performance smoothly.
- See your class instructor or Miss Marylee with any questions or concerns.

THESE PERFORMANCE INFO PACKETS HAVE ALSO BEEN PRINTED AND SENT HOME WITH EACH DANCER. THIS INFORMATION WILL ALSO REMAIN ON OUR WEBSITE UNTIL THE END OF THE SHOW.
